Capcom recently released Street Fighter IV, a brand new entry into it’s beloved fighting series. Fans of the company are probably familiar with their other fighting series, Marvel vs. Capcom, where you can play as a collection of characters from both universes in a fast-paced tag-team fighting match. Just yesterday this was released: http://www.tu4ar.com/.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 updated and revamped for the Xbox 360 and PS3. High Def. Online. Ass Kicking.
And if that wasn’t enough for you allow me to introduce Capcom’s latest entry into the Ace Attorney series of games, it’s called “Miles Edgeworth Ace Attorney: Investigations.” There is a trailer for it here: http://www.jeuxactu.com/.
Just a few months ago the gaming community was blessed with the open-world role playing game known as Fallout 3. Just 2 days ago Bethesda announced that they have given Obsidian, a company known for their work on Neverwinter Nights and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II, the green light to go ahead and work on a new entry into the franchise. Tentatively titled Fallout: New Vegas the game is slated for a 2010 release. Hopefully Bethesda keeps up with Obsidian during production to add a few of their nuances while they work on a new Elder Scrolls. I don’t know about all of you, but I loved Fallout 3 and will eagerly await the release of “New Vegas” as well as The Elder Scrolls V. Along with promises of Mass Effect 2 and Star Wars: The Old Republic, both from BioWare, it looks like 2010 maybe a very counter-productive year for me.
If you want more info on this game check out IGN or Gamespot.
I know this may be unrelated to most of the material we usually post here on Medic but I felt an overwhelming importance to share this with the world (aka like 3 readers). What is this grand discovery? It is a website call RetailMeNot.com. It’s a website completely devoted to compiling coupon codes and offers from tens of thousands of stores. I recently just used one to buy a screen protector from Zagg.com and it worked. So if you like saving money on things that you want I highly suggest checking it out before you make your next purchase.
The cast will include: Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Eric Roberts, 50 Cent, and more…
Yeah, I think it’s safe to say this will make us all feel like pussies.
Ah, April 1st, the most obnoxious day of the year. I’ve spent a good portion of my day surfing this series of tubes, as I usually do, and have noticed that the entire internet is just one big joke. I can’t look anywhere or take anything seriously. I figured instead of doing an April fools of our own it would be better just to do a run-down of everyone else’s.
I’ll start with IGN, they’re April fool’s jokes are usually well done and this one made me chuckle:
And thirdly there is a parody trailer for Bioware’s upcoming RPG Dragon Age. Beware, this one is really nerdy and kind of not funny at all.

Moving right along. Woot.com, a bargain “deal a day” website tried to cash in on the festivities offering a bag of 3 random items for $3.00 + $1,000,000.00 shipping. To buy the “Random Crap” as they call it and not have to pay the million dollar shipping charge you needed to read the item description and try to decipher the secret shipping code. Pretty creative if you ask me.
Rotten Tomatoes, a popular movie rating website (for those of you that don’t know), is also getting in on the fun. Using their “Weekly Ketchup” as a vehicle for this year’s joke they were able to make some pretty convincing stories, none of which are particularly funny though. You can read the top ten here.
